Tréville law firm defines with its client, in a written agreement, methods for the calculation and payment of fees. Fees are usually calculated in one of three different ways:
Fixed-price fees
These fees are fixed and agreed before any work is carried out, taking into account, in particular, the complexity of the case and the time estimated for handling it.
Fixed-price fees plus a success fee
To the fixed-price fees described above, is added a success fee, calculated as a pre-defined percentage of any damages awarded in litigation or under the terms of a transactional agreement.
Fees based on time spent
These fees are calculated based on the time spent to complete the case and on the hourly billing rates of the lawyers assigned to the case.
Payment
Fixed price fees are subject to the regular invoicing of payments on account.
Success fees are invoiced after recovery of the sums involved..
